The Gene Keys

The Gene Keys synthesis first came into my awareness when a fellow coach mentioned that she was using this framework.

My interest was piqued because it dealt with the deeper understanding of oneself and ones potential.

So, as I do with all things, I experiment and try it out first. I did my gene keys profile, read the books, took notes, contemplated my findings and allowed myself to purge through it all.

My notes comprised of a A4 hard cover book, and this was only for my profile. For something to encapsulate me so completely, means it's something that I find meaningful and impactful.

What is the Gene Keys and how does it enhance your way of being?

The Gene Keys is a practical framework created by Richard Rudd. The 64 keys are an inner language whose main purpose is to transform our core beliefs about ourselves, thus raising our lives onto a new level of awareness.

Since our beliefs shape our genes, when we change our beliefs, we change the chemistry of our body.

Your 'Hologenetic Profile', uses astrological data (time, date and place of birth) to generate a unique sequence of Gene Keys that relate to many aspects of your life, including the underlying genetic patterns impacting your relationships, your finances, your health and your life purpose.

There are 64 Gene Keys which when contemplated, grant you many insights into your own life, so one's belief system will begin to change and our DNA will actually start to transform the way we think and feel.

Within each gene key is a shadow, a gift and a siddhi, which are archetypes to raise your levels of consciousness and self awareness. This is the aspect that really attracted me to this framework, the ability to raise your levels of consciousness and self awareness. Within this framework the number after the . (eg 39.4 ) also has significance.

Through your activation sequence (life purpose), venus sequence (your relationship patterns) and pearl sequence (ways of unlocking your prosperity), it unlocks the hidden purpose within your DNA

“You were born with the gift to push people's buttons. While this can create some negative reactions, the goal of the provocation is to find the right spirit in the reaction. Those who you provoke are given a ''gift,'' as they have an opportunity to work on whatever you have provoked within them. They may not always see it that way though, so be forewarned. Your purpose is to create tension which causes a reaction typically in the form of a tirade or emotional expression. From that reaction come the seeds of information that through analysis can lead to the other finding an emotional path to spirit.”

I was born with the sacred gift of provoking heightened states of emotional and spiritual awareness (provoking people into self responsibility)

When I reflected on my journey of life, I was and am always being planted in the most difficult situations, where people, mindsets and ways of being are stuck and disempowered and I'm there being the one that's like "no, actually it's not like this, here’s a completely different perspective" and off I go upsetting the apple cart (albeit not purposely). I have noticed the pattern that whoever learns from what I show them about themselves or the situation, is better because of it.

Needless to say, not everyone likes their comfort shaken or their reality awakened. So dealing with resistance, rejection came with it.

Queue in all the events, relationships, interactions and experiences in my life, that spoke to how this perspective on how my purpose manifested itself in my life.

Finding out that this was my path in life was so validating but also very accurate.

I also learnt that I learn and grow through unblocking these blockages. Needless to say, it isn't an easy ride at all. But it allowed me to release the shame of all the obstacles of my path, embrace my individualism, and deeper explore the wounding in my relationships and better align to my purpose.

It was like pieces of a puzzle, all put together.

A blueprint of my life, the lessons I'm here to learn and how to fulfill  my purpose and how to be of service to others. Even being purpose driven and wanting to be of service is deeply embedded in my DNA, it's the 4/6 lines of my profile. (the numbers after the dots are known as lines in the gene keys)

Being an opportunistic role model (server/teacher), I thrive though heartfelt service. Being able to help others remove their conscious and unconscious blockages to achieve heightened levels of emotional and spiritual awareness, is my life's work. Also I first have to remove these blocks myself, in my own life. People with the 6th line acts as someone who has a 3rd line during the first 30yrs of their lives. This meant that most of my life was about trial and error, making mistakes, learning from them and hopefully gaining some wisdom in hindsight. 30- 50 is the “on the roof” phase where we heal and evolve into a “contemplative guide” to then eventually become a teacher role model (God willing).

I had the immediate sigh of relief, thinking “OMG there’s hope for me and there’s reason to all this madness” (jokes)

Who would have thought, that you could have such an exact framework about yourself. Everyone that I have worked with or discussed their gene keys profile with has not only been in awe of the accuracy but also experienced their own massive transformations.

It's for this reason that I now include the Gene keys synthesis in some programs.

The Venus Sequence is all about our relationships and our relationship wounding. Wow, I can go into this one at length, but will keep it for next time. I found it super interesting how I could easily see how my "gene keys shadows" were showing up in my relationships and then all the inner work I'd done to progress and shift. And it reinforced that when you make things practical and measurable, its adds further meaning and embodiment to the alchemy.

Let's go to the Pearl Sequence

According to the Gene Keys, the Pearl sequence cuts through all our worries about not having enough, giving us a newer, simpler vision of our lives in which money itself becomes a means of personal transformation.

The Pearl Sequence is made up of 4 spheres, your Vocation, which is actually the same placement as your Core Wound from the Venus sequence but it's a different perspective. You also have your Culture, your Brand, and your Pearl sphere. This sequence is really how you make your mark on the world. I'll share a bit more about this in coming posts

And therein lies the unfolding of your purpose, relationships and prosperity.
