Self trust is linked to self awareness, self care and self esteem.
If you have been conditioned to abandon or betray yourself in order to receive love or have your needs met, then chances are you struggle to trust yourself and may not even be aware of it.

Here are some ways to build self trust through self awareness and self care:
- šSit with yourself and lovingly explore why you think, feel, react and behave the way you do. Understanding your wounds, thoughts and traumas are the greatest catalysts for your healing and spiritual growth.
- šWork with a coach or mentor to hold space for you to heal and serve as a mirror for any blind spots.
- šRecognise what you are good at and what comes naturally for you and do more of it.
- šBe kind and gentle with yourself as you evolve and grow; unlearning and relearning is a process
- šLearn to be assertive and ask directly to have your needs met. This can be extremely uncomfortable at first but saying no and being up front builds self respect and self confidence
- šTry new things and challenge yourself because realizing your true potential means living outside of your comfort zone.
- šStart small and with consistency, you will notice your intuition becoming stronger and clearer.
- šUse positive self talk and do things to get in touch with yourself, like journaling, spiritual practices, art, creative expression, exercise, reflection walks in nature, recording a voice note when wanting to process difficult emotions, basically anything that may help you be more grounded and more you.
- šBuild healthy relationships by consciously taking time out and intentionally connecting with someone.
- šDonāt underestimate the importance of deep breathing. When stressed, we carry it in our bodies and our breath becomes more shallow, consciously breathing can be very soothing, relaxing and healing.
Lots of Love
